What would be a good dog for me?

I have 2 acres of land all fenced in and i also have two english springer spanials I would personally prefer a dog in the toy group. I am really not looking for a super athletic dog. All I am truely looking for is s loving dog to snuggle up on the couch with and go places with and take occasional walks.
