Why is the IWC so obsessed with the attitude era?

It is OVER and hopefully will NEVER come back!!! It was an embarrassment to the WWE and what caused most intelligent people to say that the WWE is only for rednecks. Why can't people move on? What was so great about it? The poor wrestling, the obscene gestures, the cursing, or the Jerry Springer mentality?
